Running is something I have always loved to do. It is physically and mentally challenging along with being extremely spiritual. Life is like a long race. There is a start (birth) and a finish (death) and a whole lot of obstacles in between. The Lord has a unique path He designed for each of us. We sometimes turn left when He says to go right, or we go backwards when He tells us to go forwards. When we feel lost and confused, we have just strayed from our path, but the Lord will always help lead us back. The feeling you get on that last lap...exhausted, thirsty, and wanting to give up, is something we feel in our everyday life too. Always remember that at the end of the race you have a HUGE trophy waiting for you that God will happily give you. It's that last push of strength that is the most rewarding. Your fuel to run the race is prayer and reading the Bible. When I run, I love to do it outside so I can talk to God and thank Him for all of His beautiful creations. There are no distractions or hindrances, just you and God. Next time you feel that you are off the path, ask God to give you the strength to finish, because it will all be worth it when you see Him smiling at the finish line!

"Let us run the race that we have to run with patience, our eyes fixed on Jesus the source and the goal of our faith." -Hebrews 12:1-2

Love the sun peeking through the trees in this pic!

WHICH ONE ARE YOU?

In our generation, there is so much diversity in the church. One of the main separations are denominations. IN NO WAY AM I SAYING THAT...
