Perfect Love Casts Out All Fear

At one point or another we have all feared something. You could be afraid of not being loved by people, or something poisonous like snakes. There are so many different things we could fear, but there is one huge reason why we don't have to: "perfect love casts out all fear." -1 John 4:18 God's unlimited love for us is stronger than all of our fears put together. There are so many passages in the Bible stating how God is always with us. When you feel completely alone, He is right beside you. And not only is He with you, but in you! Once you accept Jesus into your heart, He will never leave you or forsake you. His love for us surpasses all fears. The next time you are afraid, ask the Holy Spirit to help you to trust Him. If we put our trust in Him, we show Him that we love Him more than the thing we fear. Just talk to Him as if He were your closest friend, because He is. I promise it will work! (I know from experience;) As you place all of your love and trust in Him, fear will no longer have a hold on you.
