I know I am a little late for the Mother's Day post but here we go. My mom is unlike any other. She is so unique, beautiful, bold and the list goes on. I have had so many friends come and go in my life but my mom has never left my side. She is my ultimate best friend. She is the closest person to me besides God and I do not know where I would be without her. I am so beyond blessed to have her as my mother and I thank God for His gift to me every day. She has been such a wonderful example of Christ to me since I was born and she has never faltered from her faith. 2017 was a very hard year for us, especially my mom, because her dad got sick. My grandpa was a Bible teacher and she was very close to him, as I am to her. Although she could have easily stopped believing in God after the loss of her father, she never did. Of course it was hard and it still is, but she has always stood strong in her faith and will forever. My mom is my role model and I could never ask for a better one. My mom, before she was in the ministry, was a model and was living in the world. Her life immediately changed when she became sick from an illness that the doctors could not diagnose for 2 years. God allowed her to go through that to break her, so that all she could rely on was Him. One day she was so sick she thought she was about to die and she called out to the Lord and He healed her. After that, God showed her that she was called to preach the Gospel. She never thought she would be an evangelist, but she did it and that was the start of Sharon Bolan Yerby Ministries! God sometimes works in mysterious ways, but it is always worth it at the end. Thank God every day for your mother, she is His gift to you!

WHICH ONE ARE YOU?

In our generation, there is so much diversity in the church. One of the main separations are denominations. IN NO WAY AM I SAYING THAT...
