Are you Accepted?

We all ask ourselves this uncomfortable question from time to time. Am I really accepted? Everyone from the cheer captain to the valedictorian has felt rejection. Even though Jesus had many followers, He was unaccepted by many. Imagine how He felt when the people that previously loved Him shouted Barabas' name to be set free instead of His. Imagine how He felt when He took thirty-nine stripes from someone He would soon be dying for. Imagine how He felt when He was mocked, spit on and pierced for every single person that was degrading Him. Jesus went through all of this to show us that we ARE accepted. The purpose of Christianity is to be accepted despite all flaws. Who cares if that group at school constantly rejects you? Who cares if your so- called friends constantly gossip about you? Isn't it more valuable to know that you are accepted by the One who made you?
Are you accepted? YES YOU ARE!!!
To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the Beloved.
- Ephesians 1:6

Aww thank you!! Miss y’all too. The post was written focusing on the Bible verse that was referenced. We are accepted in Christ, not accepted by the world. Hope you enjoy the future posts!❤️
grace this is such a cute blog! Hope you are doing well. We all miss you a lot. I love what you said about how Jesus accepts everyone no matter who you are. That is so true. but I think that the purpose of Christianity is to praise our wonderful and merciful God and have a relationship with Him and know Him here that we might see Him soon. It’s not just about being accepted because that’s a selfish cause and as Christians we will never be accepted in the world. Love this so much can’t wait to keep up with all of your posts! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
So true
What a beautiful message! ❤
